Aren't these gals beautiful? I've already peeled and frozen 8 cups so far, and these are next. Blanching them quickly in boiling water and then plunging them in ice water to stop the cooking, makes peeling a breeze. Add a little lemon juice to keep them from turning brown and a tad bit of sugar if that's how you roll, slice, and into a ziplock and the freezer they go. Cobblers, ice cream, ....oh, the places they'll go. The reason they're small is because of this year's drought, but the drought sure didn't affect their taste. They literally melt in your mouth.
